Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu’s Great Steps In 1975

Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is a name that has been, is and will always be in the history of our Bangladesh. He was a man whose debts we would never be able to repay. He was our great leader, great politician and great social worker. The country we are living in so beautifully today was given to that man.

Without him we might not be able to live in independent Bengal today. Even today we have to be slaves of East Pakistan. Today we used to speak Urdu instead of Bengali language and we did not have any freedom.

At the risk of his own life, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave us an independent country which we now know as Bangladesh. After killing this great man, our prominent leader Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu did not stop. Let’s discuss that.

It is said that good people do not live long because there are a lot of enemies behind good people. Our great leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Radhe was no exception. The man who gave us an independent country, some miscreants came out to kill him. Ever since Bangladesh became independent, the enemy has been hovering behind it like a bee.

Finally in 1975 the cursed day came down in the heart of Bengal on the day our great leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was killed. Our dear leader Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu was very strong and kind towards the country from the very beginning. So he did not stop after the assassination of Bangabandhu, he involved himself in various activities

Exactly 4 years after the independence of Bangladesh, millions of cries and shouts came to the land of Bengal. In 1975, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great leader of Bengal, was assassinated in his own family. This caused a wave of mourning on the Bengali soil and in the minds of the Bengali people.

At that time, our brave leader Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu risked his life to keep in touch with the leaders and workers of the party and later played a very memorable and effective role in the revival and reconstruction of the party. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu’s contribution in organizing the Awami League after 1975 was unforgettable.

Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu became quite an ideologue in the ideology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Because he was a tough country lover from head to toe. Building Sonar Bangla was his first and foremost goal.
